Climate change and biodiversity in the region
The SI Asia-Pacific Committee recalls the positions of the Socialist International regarding climate change, and urges the governments of the Asia-Pacific region to do more in mobilising available resources to address climate change in order to minimise the impact on human life and also to protect regional biodiversity, namely the coral triangle and land-based forest resources.
